What a fun CD Release Show and the perfect finale to our first ever tour. Thanks all the wonderful, familiar faces who came out Sunday night and thanks to the Red Poppy in SF for hosting the event. Cactus Cult played a great opening set and we had a blast hanging out with everyone after the show. We couldn't have asked for a warmer audience or a better night.
Introducing the first music video off our upcoming five-song EP "A Truth Too Big to See" that comes out this weekend! You can see the music video for "Kicking Soot" here. Huge thank you to Nicky Tait for writing, directing, and editing this bad boy! Also big thanks to Joia De Vita and Ivan Gomez for acting, Spencer Campbell and Ivan Gomez for filming, and Paul Maguire for colorization. The crew got a lot of beautiful shots and Joia killed it with the acting. We're incredibly happy with the final product and hope you enjoy it, friends and fans. If you like it please share!
Our first Single comes out today and you can stream it here on BandCamp. It's a break up song about my most recent ex partner, and I hope you'll find it has a beautifully somber tone. It was a sad one to write and the process gave me a lot of healing. This is also the first time we're showing the final album cover! Big thanks to my sweetheart Stephanie Tait for envisioning the concept in a dream and to my brother Nathan Abercrombie for the photography and graphic design that brought it to life.
Our CD Release Concert is Sunday Aug 21st at the Red Poppy in SF and be sure to check out our West Coast tour dates. We're in the beautiful Eugene, OR right now after our show here last night. Tonight we play in Olympia, WA with our fun folk buddies Cowboy Indian Alien, whom I haven't seen in years and am really excited for. Thanks for listening and have a great day...
